SaaS-SEO is a curated directory of backlink opportunities for SaaS companies, built in the UK by the team at MarGen, a marketing and software company that builds and grows its own products.
Why we built it
We build links for our own software products, and the research always looked the same: hours spent qualifying guest post targets, checking whether directories were still alive, and asking hosts what they charge. The good lists were stale, the fresh lists were unvetted, and the prices were hidden behind outreach. SaaS-SEO is the tool we wanted: a living directory where the qualification work is already done and the cost of every placement is visible before you send a single email.
How we vet opportunities
Every opportunity is reviewed by a human before it is listed. We check that the site is real and maintained, that there is a realistic acceptance path, and what the host actually charges. Each entry is graded for quality, and entries that decay get paused rather than left to waste your outreach time. We list opportunities and prices, but we are not a broker: we take no commission and payments for paid placements happen directly between you and the host.
We use it ourselves
MarGen products are grown with the same directory you are subscribing to. When a source stops accepting submissions or a host changes their pricing, we feel it first and the directory gets corrected. That is the standard: if an opportunity is not good enough for our own link building, it does not belong in yours.
